Huge Abandoned City Map for Minecraft 1.8. I've found really cool city map called Newisle and one that had a futuristic theme, however Newisle is 1.8, and the other crashes on anything earlier that 1.8 even though it said it was 1.7.2.
The thing is hollow, except for a few specific locations which the creator spent the time to thoroughly build. It’s just that it looks like it has a lot more substance than it actually does. The creators of this city - Team Lyrah - suggest installing several mod packs for a complete experience of Ambarina: Optifine 1.7.10, Ambarina texture pack, and Conquest 1.7.10 V10.2.
Adding zombies and other baddies patrolling the streets could create a scenario like something out of a Resident Evil game, and there must be some players who would enjoy that. Really, the Huge Abandoned City map is best when used with some mods to make the empty city a little more interesting. To some, that room for improvement is a real selling point for this map. To fill every building on this map with insides would take months, or maybe even years of a person’s life. As you might imagine, many of the buildings are rather impressive from the outside but actually lack any kind of interior. While this map isnt automated as in, there are no. That’s just one of the reasons you might want to check out the Huge Abandoned City map by JelleMC. Youre not bound to school property either you can hide in the town outside school too if youd like. Places which were usually so full of people going so strangely silent can make them kind of creepy.
